We offer one core service of chauffeuring on this website, which breaks down into three branded offerings – Comfort, Luxury and Safety. These are defined as (the “Service”) in these Terms and Conditions.

By using our services and placing a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, and you agree to be contractually bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions for both our acceptance of the booking and for the delivery of the transportation services. This is a contractual agreement between M’s Chauffeurs as service provider and you as client/customer/booker; from the moment of accepting and confirming a booking, until providing the journey subject of the respective booking, in compliance with Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998.

1. Purchases Of Services

By placing an order for our services, you agree that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

We will acknowledge by e-mail your order for a Service at the time you place your order.

Once the order has been accepted and the service has been confirmed we will then notify you by mail with a booking confirmation.

We may, at our sole discretion, cancel the service ordered by you in the following circumstances: if you fail to pay for the agreed amount for the service prior to the service commencing; any credit card or direct debit details submitted by you for payment are found not to be valid or cease to be valid.

Cancellation of orders made howsoever caused shall be without prejudice to any rights or liabilities accrued at the date of cancellation.

Booking our services is only possible via direct communication with M’s Chauffeurs.

Drivers are not able to accept or manage bookings in any way.

Any payment made to M’s Chauffeurs is solely being made to M’s Chauffeurs and not the Driver, even when the Driver collects the money on behalf of M’s Chauffeurs.

2. Payments And Deposits

Credit card payments are subject to a 5% surcharge.

Wedding car hire payments will be taken 7 days prior to the event.

Your booking may be subject to additional waiting time after the 60min free on all Airport pickups, 30min free on all Train station pickups, and 15min on any other address pickups.

The charge on your credit card statement will be shown as M’s Chauffeurs Limited. The prices for the Services are agreed at the moment for making the booking, the price payable for the specific service ordered will be sent by email to you when the booking is confirmed.

Your payment will be processed by a secure connection at the time you place your order either via BACS transfer, or credit/debit card payment provider.

Payment is required to be confirmed via selected method prior to services commencing.

During the booking process, we will ask you to complete/provide payment by credit card or direct card to enable us to collect payment for the services required.

We send electronic invoices/advice of charges to you in Adobe Acrobat PDF versions.

3. Cancellation And Refund Policy

Bookings can be cancelled via email or phone and will receive confirmation of this cancellation via email.

If a booking is cancelled by the Client with up to 24 hours’ notice of the start of the period of hire, then the Client will be charged in full the agreed price. (This is valid for one-way service).

For an Event of more than 4 days hire, we need 96 hours of notice for cancellation and a full refund.

Any deposit paid for bookings will be non-refundable if is less than 24h prior to service.

Any cancellation up to 24 hours will be charged at 100% of the total hire price.

Any changes to the booking on Events with more than 3 cars, after the agreed time, date and mileage will increase the price by 50%.

Any amendments made to bookings with more than 24h notice, are free of charge, with the condition that the new date and time of the booking will not be in the window of 24h.

Amendments to booking inside the 24h window, will be discussed particularly and confirmed only if there is availability for a chauffeur to be assigned and after the 50% booking change fee is paid.

If the Client does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, all monies paid will be non-refundable.

M’s Chauffeurs request a minimum of 25 hours’ notice for any bookings.

If you would like to book a car with less than 25 hours’ notice, please call our office, but we cannot guarantee that the service can be provided.

Any bookings cancelled with more than 24h notice, will be 100% refunded to the client.

M’s Chauffeurs will carry out the booking for fares paid in advance or for which official fare estimates were provided in advance.

Only M’s Chauffeurs is able to cancel a booking, although a driver may reject the fare if special conditions are met.

All journeys will be carried out by Private Hire Drivers using Private Hire Vehicles licensed under the authority of TfL.

M’s Chauffeurs takes full responsibility for the journey from the agreed starting point to the agreed finish. This is not the responsibility of the Driver, nor is the Driver able to amend or accept a booking. The Business instead is responsible for this exclusively.

The Driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic, and the legal speed limits.

Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required to reinstate a vehicle to working order – as well as any subsequent loss of earnings for the driver for the consequence of their vehicle being off the road.

We provide subcontracted vehicles occasionally, and these vehicles also meet all relevant conditions.

By supplying your email address, you permit M’s Chauffeurs Limited to contact you via e-mail.

We never supply your email to any third party.

If there are any changes or variations including extra mileage to the journeys other than what was agreed at the time of booking, the client will be charged extras in accordance with the pricing structure as follow: 5pounds / extra mile + 2pounds / minute of waiting time if required.

We reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.

Every effort will be made by M’s Chauffeurs to ensure that our vehicle(s) or licensed Sub-Contractors vehicle(s) arrive on time.

Our Chauffeur(s) will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the Client at the time of booking.

M’s Chauffeurs vehicle(s) and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims.

Client’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and M’s Chauffeurs shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.

M’s Chauffeurs will keep a lost property book at their office and will endeavour to return any lost goods left in our vehicle(s) or subcontracted vehicle(s) to the Client.

M’s Chauffeurs and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the Chauffeur, the vehicle, or any other passenger(s).

M’s Chauffeurs maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles.

Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the Client’s statutory rights.

Quotations do not allow for public and bank holidays like Christmas Day. On Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, there will be a 100% surcharge on all journeys. All other Bank Holidays will be subject to a 50% surcharge.

All major sporting events such as Wimbledon and Ascot are charged at a premium rate which may mean online bookings for these types of events may not be valid.

Standard booking procedures do not apply to weddings. Weddings have a different pricing structure and must be arranged in a bespoke fashion with the provider.

BUSINESS ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS

Invoices: All invoices to be paid to M’s Chauffeurs within 14 days of the date of the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Overdue payment: M’s Chauffeurs reserves the right to suspend customers’ access to their business accounts in the event of any overdue payment.

Late payment charges: M’s Chauffeurs reserves the right to be paid all costs for recovering late payment from overdue business account customers. This will include M’s Chauffeurs administrative costs and any associated costs incurred with lawyers or debt collection agencies.

Any delay of payments will incur a penalty of 2.5% / day, until full payment is being recovered.

Limitations Of Liability

Whilst we have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information it is provided on an “as is” basis and we give no warranty and make no representation regarding the accuracy or completeness of the content of this.

Further, no warranty is given that the Service shall be available on an uninterrupted basis, and no liability can be accepted in respect of losses or damages arising out of such unavailability.

Access to and the use of this website is at your own risk

We do not warrant that the use of this Website or any material downloaded from it will not cause damage to any property, including but not limited to loss of data or computer virus infection.

We accept no liability for viruses

We recommend that you take all appropriate safeguards before downloading information or images from the Website.

Security

Our secure server software encrypts all your payment card details.

The process scrambles all the information, allowing no unauthorized third party to intercept the data.

Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing either a locked padlock icon or an image of a padlock next to the payment details in the relevant area of the Website.
